Valeria Pozzo is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music seamlessly blends various genres. Her intimate vocal style, rooted in a love for storytelling, draws inspiration from artists like Joni Mitchell, Becca Stevens, Emiliana Torrini, and Jeff Buckley.

Born in Pordenone, northern Italy, Valeria was immersed in music from a young age. She began singing and playing the violin as a child, performing with professional orchestras by her teenage years. Valeria studied classical violin at the 'B. Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and simultaneously joined the ‘VGE vocal project’ directed by Luca Pitteri, a contemporary choir influenced by Gospel and groups like Take 6. As a vocalist, she performed across Italy and appeared on national TV shows such as 'Zelig', 'Ti Lascio Una Canzone', and 'Io Canto’.

In 2011, Valeria moved to London to expand her musical horizons. Inspired by the city's vibrant and diverse music scene, she began writing her own songs and became involved in London’s thriving jazz community through the talent development organisation Tomorrow's Warriors. Since then, she has collaborated with numerous artists, including Chaka Khan, Nubya Garcia, Jazz Jamaica All Stars, ESKA, NU Civilisation Orchestra, Neil Cowley, Antonio Forcione, Robert Mitchell, Raffy Bushman, Sam Ryder, Rhys Lewis, Nyoh, Coke Studio, and Southbank Sinfonia.

Valeria has performed at many prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, and more. She also recorded a cover of George Harrison’s ‘Here Comes The Sun’ at Abbey Road Studio for Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

During the lockdown, Valeria recorded, self-produced, and released her debut single 'My Heart', an introspective ballad about self-love and finding clarity in solitude. She played every instrument on the track, including guitars, charango, bandola, violin, viola, synth, and electric bass.

In 2023, Valeria released her self-produced EP *Circles*, featuring prominent musicians from the UK jazz scene such as Tom Herbert, Yusuf Ahmed, Joseph Costi, and Idris Rahman. Much of her writing stems from vulnerability, and *Circles* delves into cycles of stability and turmoil, exploring the existential quest for connection, acceptance, and belonging.

Valeria embarked on two solo European tours in 2023, performing in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy.
